Description

Woven, Composite, Hotmelt and Bale Press Polyester Strapping

  • Woven polyester strapping comprises of cross woven strands of polyester yarn, coated with cold glue to improve its rigidity and strength.
  • Polyester strapping is ideal for heavy use applications and offers a stronger, greener alternative to steel strapping.
  • Polyester strapping is available as woven or non-woven.
  • Non-woven is often referred to as composite, the filaments of polyester are in a line and are sealed in a polymer.
  • Composite is easier to feed through a pallet frame.
  • Hotmelt cord strapping alternatively has a higher break strain and system strength than composite.
  • Woven polyester strapping is stronger and more durable, the filaments are weaved together making it extraordinarily strong.
  • Bale press strapping is used to secure compressed bale waste and in conjunction with bailing presses.
  • The strapping is tensioned and secured with heavy-duty steel buckles.
